Position Description
WK Social is hiring a Marketing & Communications Intern to support the growth of Advaizor, an AI-powered education technology startup focused on helping students, educators, schools, and workforce partners use AI to navigate education, career pathways, opportunities, and the future of work.
This internship is designed for a high school student, college student, or recent college graduate who is creative, organized, curious, and interested in marketing, communications, AI, education technology, content creation, social media, and community engagement.
The intern will work with the WK Social and Advaizor team to help grow awareness of Advaizor and its community platform TheMixerHub, create engaging content, support digital campaigns, build community, and communicate the value of AI-powered education tools in a way that feels practical, human, and accessible.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing, Communications & Community Engagement
- Manage Advaizor’s social media channels by creating original content, videos, and digital campaigns using tools such as Opus, Canva, Metricool, and other marketing platforms.
- Set up, organize, and nurture the Advaizor community space within The Mixer Hub, including courses, resources, and “tips & tricks” videos that help users get the most out of Advaizor.
- Produce voiceovers, tutorials, and explainer videos that make AI accessible, practical, and easy to understand for students, teachers, and education partners.
- Write newsletters, blogs, announcements, and academic-facing communications that build trust with schools, educators, students, and community partners.
- Support relationship-building between Advaizor and education communities by creating content that feels human, helpful, and relevant.
- Assist with marketing and digital marketing strategies as needed, including event promotion, high school and college activations, community events, and partner outreach.

- Interested in marketing, communications, AI, education, technology, or social media
- Creative, organized, and willing to learn
- Comfortable creating social media content, short videos, graphics, captions, and written updates
- Comfortable using or learning tools such as Canva, Opus, Metricool, CapCut, Google Workspace, and social media platforms
- Able to communicate clearly and professionally
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to complete tasks on time
- Interested in helping students, educators, and communities access opportunities through technology
***Prior experience is helpful but not required.***
Pay and Schedule
Pay: $20 per hour
Hours: 25 – 30 hours per week
Length: 2 months
Start Date: July 15
End Date: September 15
Key Responsibilities
Location
- Hybrid. Most work can be completed remotely, but the intern should be available for a few in-person meetings to be arranged based on the candidate we hire.
What the Intern Will Gain
- The intern will gain hands-on experience in marketing, communications, social media management, AI-powered education technology, content creation, digital campaigns, community engagement, event promotion, and startup growth.
- By the end of the internship, the intern will have real portfolio examples, including social media content, videos, newsletters, blogs, campaign materials, event promotion, and community engagement work connected to a growing AI-powered education technology platform.
